Description
Chamber furnaces are used both for heating and for heat treatment of ingots, slabs, pipes, finished products of large mass and complex configuration. Usually the furnaces have a large cage, the products in them are loaded in bags or feet. Most often, they heat the metal that comes in small batches, differing in size and modes of heating or heat treatment.
The advantage of chamber furnaces is their versatility, i.e. the ability to load various products into them every time, including those inconvenient for transportation in continuous furnaces, and to vary the modes of heating or heat treatment within wide limits.
The heating system of chamber furnaces is designed to create maximum uniformity of temperatures in the working space of the furnace, so it is performed dispersed.
