1. Introduction
In this work, a full-turn crane with variable take-off is designed.
The main parts of the crane are an arrow and a column. Movement mechanism moves along boom on two driving and two driven wheels to which load lifting mechanism (telfer) is connected.
The telfer consists of a flange motor, a drum built into the drum of a wave reduction gear and a disc friction electromagnetic brake. The gearbox, drum and electromagnetic brake are designed based on the initial data and requirements imposed on the crane structure, and the electric motor is selected according to the directory.
The movement mechanism moves the telfer along the boom .
A rope is wound on the telfer drum, and the load is picked up using a hook suspension. Rope end is secured on telfer body. Critical height of load lifting is controlled by motion limiter fixed on lower part of telfer body.
The boom is a lightweight welded structure in order to save material and reduce weight. Boom is attached to column rotating around its axis.
The crane is rotated manually.
The crane is attached to the floor by means of foundation bolts.
This calculation and explanatory note contains the main calculations for the design of components, steel structures and directly assembly of the full-turn crane.
