Description
The boiler unit BKZ-420-140 of the sixth modification, which is shown in Figure 1, is single-drum, vertical-water-tube with natural circulation designed to burn Azaean brown coal [1].
The layout of the boiler is made according to the U-shaped scheme. The furnace chamber is located in the first (ascending) gas duct. In the upper (rotary) gas duct there is a superheater, in the second (descending) gas duct there is a water economizer and an air heater.
