1. Screw calculation
1.1 Material selection
The material for the screws of the sliding friction pair is carbon steels of conventional quality, high-quality and alloyed structural steels. The material of the nuts of screw pairs that do not experience impact loads and do not require great accuracy is gray or antifriction cast iron. For accurate and responsible mechanisms, the nuts are made of bronze.
The following materials are assigned for design:
for the screw - Steel 35 GOST 105088, ultimate strength αb = 650 MPa; fluidity limit σТ = 380 MPas;
for a nut − BrO5Ts5S5 of GOST X61382 strength σb = 176.2 MPas.
Conclusion
In this work, a screw extractor was designed and designed. Materials of structural parts were selected, as well as strength check calculations of parts were carried out. The material of the readable course is fixed and learned and primary skills of design work are acquired.
The efficiency of this screw gear is 39.2 percent.
This value is far from the maximum value of the screw gear efficiency, which indicates that the gear mainly works on friction.
