Description
Ball joints, sometimes referred to as joint joints (SHS), or, in accordance with the principle of operation, sliding bearings, are used to connect elements of machines and mechanisms moving relative to each other in a sliding mode. Hinged joints are used with insufficiently rigid shafts that allow oscillations between the shaft and the mechanism body, in particular when the supports are spaced apart by considerable distances. Ball joints and tips exist in various versions, with different sliding surfaces for a certain application. According to the principle of maintenance, ball joints are divided into hinges that require maintenance during operation and hinges that do not require such maintenance (self-lubricating).
