To Automation Project

sprinkler fire extinguishing unit.

The project provides for automatic control of two sprinkler pumps according to the main reserve scheme, a device for compensating for the leakage of fire extinguishing agent (jockey pump), a drain pump and six deluge valves for protecting escape routes.

Maintaining the pressure in the fire extinguishing system is carried out using a jockey pump, the jockey pump is controlled by the signals of the pressure sensor SP5. In case of sprinkler opening and pressure drop in the system, on the signal of any sensor PS1 or PS2 the sprinkler pump PN1 is started.

Setting to nominal operation mode of PN1 pump is controlled by readings of PS3 pressure gauge, and PN2 pump by readings of PS4 pressure gauge. In case of refusal of start-up or absence of PN1 on the mode during the determined time, PN2 is automatically started.

In case of operation of HF1 liquid flow detector, Y1... Y6 deluge electric valves are opened.

The drain pump is controlled automatically by the signals of the water level indicator in the drain pit.

Indication device is installed in the room with 24-hour stay of duty personnel. PI in the form of light and sound signals signals:

passing the fire extinguishing agent (in directions).

start-up of pumps;

disconnection of automatic start-up of PN1, PN2, jockey pump, drain pump;

failure of any loop;

faults of power supply electric pipelines;

emergency level in the pit;

not setting to nominal operation mode of PN1, PN2 pump;

The pumps are stopped remotely from the CP or CP using the command "CP reset" (see CP and CP passports).
