1. General provisions

1.1 This project deals only with the design of automatic fire alarm systems, automatic powder fire extinguishing in the parking areas of cars of the administrative center located at the address: Kuldzhinsky tract

1.2 The main design decisions adopted in the detailed design documentation meet the requirements of regulatory documents:

Brief description of the object

The object of protection is the parking lot of cars on the basement of the administrative center.

The total area of the protected underground parking is 739.00 m2.

The number of cars is 14.

Ceiling height does not exceed 3 m.

Space category - B.

At least two dispersed evacuation exits are provided from the underground floor of the parking lot.

According to item 7.2 CH PK 3.02222002. "Underground parking" in the parking areas is provided for automatic fire extinguishing.

The central control room of the fire protection system (CPC SDR) is located on the 1st floor.

The presence of smoke formations (exhaust gases of vehicles) in the absence of a fire center is possible.

In order to increase the level of fire protection of premises and tighten possible foci, manual fire extinguishing means are used.

Selection of fire extinguishing agent

Selection of fire extinguishing agent in the form of general purpose fire extinguishing powder is made on the basis of:

- Properties of material assets located on the object - a car.

Contraindications to the use of the selected fire extinguishing agent were checked:

- As per Table 5.1 of VNIIPO Recommendations "Fire Automation Equipment. Scope. Type Selection ":

- Solid non-smoldering substances, rubber products "fit well";

- Limit and unsaturated hydrocarbons - "suits perfectly."

- According to reference materials - "Fire and explosion hazard of substances and materials and means of their extinguishing" under the ed. Prof. Baratov - when extinguishing existing substances, powder refers to "the most suitable extinguishing means" (see Table 4.1, g.1, g.3).

Selection of fire extinguishing method and AUPT type

Based on the analysis of technological, structural and space-planning solutions of the protection object, the method of extinguishing is optimal - locally on the surface.

The placement of extinguishing means is made taking into account the geometry of the spray.

The principle of building a fire extinguishing unit is modular.

The automatic powder fire extinguishing unit does not serve to protect building structures from the effects of OPF in order to increase the limit values ​ ​ that affect the stability of the building in case of fire. The structures are adopted in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents on fire safety and do not require additional protection.

Taking into account the structural features of the protection object, the type of combustible load, the placement geometry, the module of powder fire extinguishing of impulse action WFP (p) 5IGEUHL cat. 3.1 "Guarant5" was selected as the main component of the fire extinguishing system (extinguishing means).

WFP Garant5 is designed to localize and extinguish class A, B, C fires and energized electrical equipment (without disconnection) in production, warehouses, domestic premises, garages, as well as to extinguish open process units and platforms at speeds of incoming air flow up to 5 m/s.

Main parameters and characteristics of WFP Garant5:

Fire extinguishing capacity and powder spraying configurations ("Garant5") in the protected area when extinguishing fire centers of "A" and "B" classes at the closed site

Notes - 1) The model center of rank 233B is the burning of 233x liters of gasoline located in a tray in the shape of a circle with a diameter of 3.05 m and an area of ​ ​ 7.3 m2.

The fire extinguishing powder ("VexonABC) used does not adversely affect the clothing and body of a person, does not cause damage to property and is easily removed from any surface by dry means (wiping or vacuum cleaner).

Selection of control equipment

To detect fire and provide fire extinguishing, install "GarantR" ACS equipment in the protected room consisting of:

5.1 Signal processing units TU4854007580107302005, which perform the function of thermal maximum fire detectors with differential characteristics. At that "SCO" provides two-threshold principle of fire detection from two independent alarm loops, which are an element of SCO design:

- warning "Attention" is generated upon receipt of signal from two temperature sensors on exceeding of the first threshold value of temperature in protected area +64+3˚S;

- "Fire" notification is generated upon receipt of signals from two temperature sensors on exceeding the second temperature threshold value in the same area +763˚S;).

5.2 Signal repeaters (PCM and RCS). "RSK," "RS-M," "FDR" (relay No. 1,4,5) receive Signals "Norma," "Attention," "Fire" from SCU and are transmitted further to SCR CCP.

5.3 "Garant5" powder fire extinguishing modules are designed for fire extinguishing.

The Guarantor modules have a fire safety certificate.

Wireless automatic fire extinguishing devices "GarantR" have a certificate of compliance No. CRU.PB16.B.00005.

5.4 Output signals from the automatic control system from the protected room to the Control Panel (CP) of the "Guarantor" automatic control system.

5.5 Information exchange between units of automatic powder fire extinguishing system "GarantR" ("RSK," "RS-M," "FDR," "BOS," "OBD") is performed via radio channel at frequency 2.4GHz.

5.6 Programming of GarantR blocks ("RSK", "RS-M", "DRILL", "is BAREFOOT") is carried out with the help a brelka of diagnostics of "DB".

5.7 Manual start of Garant-R system is performed by means of "FDR" control relays unit by pressing "WFP Start" button. Setting of "Guarantor" system to "Automatic shut down" and "WFP Start" mode is also performed using "FDR" unit.

5.8 Integration into the APS system is also possible using NZCPNK from the FDR unit or using the RS485 interface when there is an open protocol of the selected APS system.

5.9 To perform backup power supply, the design provides redundant power supply sources ensuring serviceability of FDR, PCM, RS-K units of "Guarantor" automatic control system for main power loss within 24 hours in standby mode and in "ALARM" mode for at least 3 hours.

5.10 Delay of powder release from the moment of "ALARM" signal generation - 30 sec. - factory, is installed programmatically in SCD units.

Principle and operating modes of "Garant-R" automatic control system

The GarantR plant implements the modular principle of building a local fire extinguishing system without first taking into account the areas and directions of extinguishing. The localization of the fire center is carried out automatically, based directly on its characteristics, such as power, development speed and propagation paths. At the same time, the necessary and sufficient amount of extinguishing means will be used to suppress the fire.

In case of fire source occurrence in any place of protected area the group of close-located modules detects the temperature exceeding the lower threshold value (T1) and sets to the state of readiness for actuation. At that "Attention" signal is generated and interaction of plant components corresponding to this operation mode is performed.

The group of modules is started by a signal from any of them, the first to detect that the second threshold value (T2) of temperature is exceeded. The Fire notification is generated and the interaction mode of the components is changed accordingly.

Thus, the number of WFP personnel involved in the extinguishing process is automatically dictated by the capacity of the hotbed and its peculiarities of development.

The functionality of the units is shown in Table 3.

Signal processing unit "ECU"

Two-threshold (lower threshold - 64 + 3 ° С, upper threshold - 763 ° С) temperature control from two spaced points of space using two temperature-sensitive elements (PME);

monitoring of its signaling loops (SH) for break and short circuit;

output of the actuating pulse to the activation device of the powder fire extinguishing module (PWP);

check of start-up circuits for breakage;

provision of required time of WFP start-up delay (not less than 30 sec);

built-in power supply discharge check;

light and sound indication of own operation modes;

transmission of signals "Warning," "Fire," "Start of WFP" and "Malfunction" to "PCM" of its zone.

reception of signals "Attention," "Fire," "Start of WFP," "Automation is disconnected" from "PCM" of its zone.

WFP (Garant5)

Functions of fire extinguishing agent storage and supply to combustion zone are combined at action of actuating pulse from "ECU" on module starting element.

Note - WFP is attached with "SCU" by means of special bracket.

"DB" diagnostic key

Programming of "Guarantor" installation devices;

Testing of "Guarantor" installation devices;

Reset the status of "Guarantor" devices to standby mode.

Test panel "CP"

Monitoring and display of technical condition of ACS devices;

Monitoring of the fire situation in the service area of the automatic control unit;

Storing real-time event information;

Visual display of the event log on the LCD display.

The "SCU" signal processing unit is attached and connected directly to each fire extinguishing module.

Main operating modes of the unit

- "Automatics ON" mode (standby mode);

- Automatic mode is OFF (setting to mode is performed by pressing of "Auto. OFF "to" FDR ");

- "Diagnostics" mode (setting to the mode is performed by pressing "TEST" button of diagnostics key).

7.1 "Automatics ON" mode.

In the initial stage of the fire, when the temperature in the area of ​ ​ the WFP with "BOC" 64 + 3 ° C is reached, two PIs of the lower threshold value (PI64) are triggered. At the same time, "SCO" goes into the "Attention" state - readiness to receive signals for WFP launch (from neighboring modules with "SCO" and/or from "FDR") and to block the launch (from "FDR") - turns on its own light-and-sound alarm and generates a "Attention" notification, which is transmitted to all devices of the system.

When receiving a notice "Attention":

- corresponding relay "FDR" operates, which switches on the necessary actuators and outputs "Attention" signal to the PCP;

- LED indicator on "FDR" control relays unit is ON (by means of "FDR" it is possible to perform manual start of corresponding SW and lock automatic start);

- "Attention" signal is transmitted to "PCM" of its zone.

The development of the fire center leads to an increase in temperature in the area of ​ ​ the location of neighboring modules, while their signal processing units also go into the "Attention" state.

Upon reaching the temperature in the area of ​ ​ the WFP with "BOC" 763 ° C, two PIs of the upper threshold value (PI76) are triggered. Moreover, which of the "BOS" located at the place of temperature increase will work first depends on many factors, such as: the paths of fire propagation in the room, the direction of air heat flows, etc. "BOS" of this module goes into the "Fire" state, turns on its own light-and-sound alarm, generates and transmits "Fire" notices in 30 sec. "Start WFP."

Upon receipt of the "Fire" notification:

- corresponding relay "FDR" operates, which switches on the necessary actuators and outputs "Fire" signal to the PCP;

- "SCU" signal processing units of other WFP located in the zone of elevated temperature (in "Warning" state) go into "Fire" mode and in 30 seconds simultaneously activate the modules (in the absence of "Automation disconnected" notification).

Upon receipt of the "WFP Start" notification, the corresponding "FDR" relay operates.

When the FDR control relays are connected to the smoke removal system (or other engineering systems), they will be switched on (or off).

FDR can also broadcast all received signals to the centralized monitoring panel, control information boards, etc.

7.2 "Automatics OFF" mode.

Setting of automatic control system to mode is performed from "Automatic control system is ON" mode as a result of pressing of "Automatic control system OFF" button on "FDR "/remote button.

Upon receipt of the signal "Automation is OFF," "FDR" unit switches over contacts of relay 3 "Automation OFF," and "ECU" will switch over to "Automation OFF" state, blocking the start of MSS when the temperature exceeds the value of 763 ° С.

To return "Guarantor" automatic control system to standby mode press "Automatic OFF" button again on "FDR."

7.3 "Diagnostics" mode.

AUPT is diagnosed by issuing a test signal from the "DB" as a result of pressing the "TEST" button.

If the APTA devices are in the NORMAL state, they respond with the corresponding sound and light signals.

When "RESET" button is pressed on "DB," "FDR" devices return to initial state.

Calculation of the number of fire extinguishing modules

The amount of APTA equipment is determined on the basis of the fire extinguishing characteristics for the protected room, the features of the WFP spray diagrams and the geometry of their placement, taking into account the places of storage of cars.

8.1 Calculation of powder fire extinguishing unit..

Taking into account the geometry of the WFP spray, shading zones, the possibility of spilling combustible liquids (depressurization of the tank or fuel line) and the formation of local volume extinguishing zones, 30 pcs are required to protect cars in the parking lot, in the archive room. 8. Installation of electrical wiring of automatic powder fire extinguishing unit.

To execute lines of management of the peripheral equipment of AUPT "GarantR" in parking KPSVVngLS cable 2х2х0.5 laid in electrotechnical boxes on the walls and pipes of corrugated PHV (GOST P5082795).

Power supply of "RSK," "RS-M," "FDR" 12V devices must be performed by 2x0.75 ShVP wire in metal box.

Wired power lines of "RSK," "RS-M," "FDR" units of powder fire extinguishing units in protected rooms and along routes shall be laid separately from all power cables, lighting cables and wires in metal box.

In case of parallel open laying, the distance between the wires of the peripheral equipment connecting lines with power and lighting wires must be at least 0.5 m. If it is necessary to lay these wires and cables at a distance of less than 0.5 m from the power and lighting wires, they must have protection against aiming. It is allowed to reduce the distance to 0.25 m from wires and connecting lines without protection from aiming to single lighting wires and control cables.

9.Installation of equipment.

Arrangement and installation of "Guarantor" ACS units shall be performed in accordance with the design, Job Instructions and Instructions.

Redundant power supply "RIP12 isp.01" is attached to the wall at the height convenient for maintenance, but not less than 0.8 m from the floor level.

The FDR control relay unit is installed on the wall at a height of 1.5 m from the floor, RSK and PCM signal repeaters are installed under the ceiling outside the access area, but in the visible control area.

Placement of instruments shall prevent their accidental fall or movement along the installation surface, in which the connected wires and cables may be damaged.

When placing instruments it is necessary to ensure normal illumination of instrument panels.

Placement of "GarantR" automatic control system equipment in cabinets and compartments shielding radio communication is not allowed.

Do not install devices closer than 1 m from heating system components. Measures should be taken to protect devices from direct sunlight.

Power supply

According to PUE, powder fire extinguishing units in terms of ensuring the reliability of power supply are classified as electrical receivers of the 1st category. Therefore, the power supply of the plant must be from one AC source with automatic switching in emergency mode to backup power from batteries.

When the battery is used as a backup power source, the plant shall be operated for at least 24 hours in standby mode and for at least 3 hours in fire mode.

The redundant power supply is "RIP12" is.01 with 7 A/h battery.

Grounding

To ensure the safety of people, all electrical equipment of the Guarantor automatic control system, which has grounding terminals (RIP12 isp.1), must be reliably grounded in accordance with the requirements of the PUE. Installation of grounding devices shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of "Instructions for implementation of the grounding network in electrical installations" - MN 10276. The resistance of the grounding device used to ground the electrical equipment shall not exceed 4 ohms.

Use the metal frame of the technical room connected to the external grounding electrodes as grounding electrodes. In the circuit of grounding and zero protective conductors there shall be no disconnecting devices and fuses.

Connection of grounding and zero protective conductors to parts of electrical equipment shall be made by welding or bolting.

Health and safety measures.

Maintenance of the automatic powder fire extinguishing unit is allowed for persons who have passed safety training. Passing the briefing is noted in the journal. Communication mounters serving the automatic installation of powder fire extinguishing shall be provided with protective means that have passed the corresponding laboratory tests.

Plant operation mode: switching into automatic operation mode, setting to manual start mode is determined by the operating manual of the powder fire extinguishing unit at the facility.

Installation and repair works in electrical networks and devices (or near them), as well as work on connection and disconnection of wires should be carried out only when the voltage is removed. All electrical installation works, maintenance of electrical installations, periodicity and methods of testing of protective equipment must be carried out in compliance with the "Rules for technical operation of electrical installations of consumers."
