A device for flaring the ends of fuel lines

The flaring device is used to create detachable joints of various hydraulic and fuel systems in road vehicles.                                                            

The device consists of a bracket 1, in which there is a screw 2 with a cone-shaped tip, which flares the tube 5, two cheeks 3, into which the tubes are clamped, and you can flared tubes of different diameters 5; 6; 8; 10; 12.                                                

The device works as follows:                  

We take the nozzle corresponding to the hole, which is on one side a steel cylindrical object with a cone-shaped surface and a device for a pressure screw on the other side. Depending on the type of future connection, the flaring nozzle may have a different shape, so we select the surface of the required configuration. Having installed the nozzle we need, we begin to gradually tighten the screw of the centering rod, pressing the surface of the nozzle on the tube, gradually pressing it to the edges of the hole in the base. Upon completion of the operation, the rod screw is unscrewed, the base is disassembled and the flared tube is freely removed from the device.
