Description
In this project, a model of a balloon single-stage oxygen reducer was developed. Balloon single-stage oxygen reducers are designed to reduce the pressure of gas (oxygen, hydrogen, acetylene, propane-butane mixture) coming from the balloon or main line to operating pressure and keep it constant. Gas pressure is reduced due to one-stage expansion of gas when it passes through gap between seat and valve into working chamber. Oxygen, hydrogen and propane-butane reducers are connected to the cylinder valve with a swivel nut, and acetylene one with a clamp. The swivel nut of the oxygen reducer has the right thread, and the hydrogen and propane-butane thread has the left thread.
