Introduction

This operating manual is based on the 14m3 kiln (hereinafter referred to as the kiln).

The operation manual describes the purpose and design of the furnace (drawing), safety measures that must be observed during operation. Instructions for preparation for work are given, the procedure for working with the furnace and recommendations for maintenance and repairs are set out.

When studying the operation and operation of the equipment, you should additionally use the documentation for components (purchased) components, as well as the documentation for the electrical part, gas supply, air supply, ventilation system.

Purpose of the product

The furnace is designed to burn ceramic articles with a total loading volume of 14 m3 according to a given process cycle at a firing temperature of up to 1550 ° С.

Furnace operation

Furnace loading is performed by alternately rolling two loaded cars into chamber with blanks laid for firing by means of winch of electric transmission trolley. Note here that one end of loading device rope is secured with winch rope while another end is secured with car. After the furnace is loaded, the door is closed and locked in the closed position, burners are ignited using igniters and the products are fired.

Starting of the furnace (ignition of burners) is possible only if a number of requirements are met, the main of which are:

check of gas equipment serviceability in general and shutoff valves in particular;

provision of required rarefaction in furnace.

Burn the burners in the following sequence:

open the furnace chimney flap;

ventilate the furnace working space with air supplied through burners;

Perform an analysis of the air in the furnace for the absence of methane;

open the gate valve on the gas pipeline;

blow the gas pipeline;

perform analysis for the remaining air in the gas pipeline;

Switch on the electrical ignition igniter;

slowly open the gas shutoff device, putting gas into the burner and make sure that the latter is functional;

slowly open the air shutoff device by starting the air supply to the burner;

gradually opening the shutoff devices, alternately increase the supply of gas and air;

similarly ignite the remaining burners;

continue alternately increasing gas and air supply till complete gas combustion is ensured and stable flame flare is obtained. At the same time, the torch should have a thickness of 50... 150 mm and stack along the masonry of the furnace wall, evenly diverging in all directions from the burner stone tunnel. The flare (flame presence in the furnace) is monitored according to the readings of the device included in the burner igniter.

Extinguish burners in reverse order.

Detailed description of the safety requirements during operation of the furnace, preparation for start-up, the sequence of ignition and extinguishing of burners, methods of control over the combustion process and firing modes shall be given in the process instruction and mode instruction, the requirements of which shall be strictly observed during operation with the furnace.

Measuring tools, tools and accessories

When servicing the furnace, the use of special tools is not provided. Instrumentation and A measuring instruments provided by the electric and gas parts of the furnace design are used to monitor gas, air pressure, air mixture, combustion product composition. Special ticks must be used to unload piece products.

Description and operation of article components

2.1. Bearing structure of furnace is metal frame made of shaped and sheet rolled stock. From the inside, the frame is lined with two-layer brickwork. Asbestos plates 4 mm thick in two layers are installed between the masonry and the metal frame. On the front side, the camera is closed by an open door. Flue gas discharge channels are provided in side and rear walls. In the rear wall of the furnace there are channels for air suction through the damper to control the vacuum in the furnace and for the device of the safety blasting valve. Operation with the furnace is described in item 1.4 of this manual.

2.2. Gas equipment of furnace includes set of gas burners, igniters, control and shutoff valves connected to each other by gas pipeline. Six burners are divided into two groups (three in each), which are installed on the side walls of the furnace. Medium pressure burners with forced air supply of GPP4 type are used for heating. The main shutoff device is a gate valve installed in front of the safety valve PKV100, which provides air supply to the burners only if there is a thrust in the ventilation system. In front of each burner there are two shut-off devices (operating and control), as well as a U-shaped pressure gauge for visual control of gas pressure.

The gas supply system also includes a purge gas pipeline. The gas pipeline is attached to the building structures of the building and the metal structure of the furnace and laid from them at a distance ensuring the possibility of its inspection and repair.

2.3. Air supply is intended for supply of air with pressure of 350 kgf/m2 to burners and its mixing with gas for formation of gas-air mixture. Control of air supply to the burner is carried out by means of shut-off devices located near each burner. The air supply includes an air duct with a diameter of 200 mm and a source of forcing of air - the fan of high pressure of VD5. Near the furnace, air passes through the recuperator and is further divided into two tubes into each of the two groups of burners. Vertical branches of 100 mm diameter are connected to the receiving flanges of the burners.

2.4 Ventilation system is designed to remove combustion products from the furnace and release them into the atmosphere by natural thrust. It consists of a metal chimney attached at one end to the outlet of the smoke channel of the furnace and cut into the existing chimney system from the dismantled furnace No. 1 and the existing furnace No. 2, connected to a brick chimney located outside the building. The diameter of the pipe provides the possibility of removing combustion products from both furnaces, and its height - the necessary thrust. Prior to tie-in to the existing chimney, a damper is provided on the chimney from the reconstructed furnace.

2.5 Furnace electrical equipment is used for power supply of power equipment and instrumentation and automation circuits. The electrical equipment includes the burner ignition control panel, the PCB electromagnet, the electric motors of the actuators of the forced air supply and its flow control, the power supply and alarm cables of the equipment operation. Electrical equipment operation is controlled in the following order:

supply ~ 380 V power from SR to control and alarm circuit;

turn "UP" wrench to "ignition" position;

Press "Start" button to start the fan motor of forced air supply to the burners;

use switch SA to open the air supply damper to the burners for "ignition" mode;

perform ignition of all burners, at that the L8 lamp goes OFF corresponds to presence of flame of all burners ;

after ignition set "UP" wrench to "operation" position, which is controlled by L10 lamp.

in case of deviation of any parameter from the specified mode ("gas pressure increase above the norm," "air pressure decrease," "reduction of discharge in the furnace"), the sound signal of "emergency mode" of the furnace operation is activated.

Maintenance

At certain intervals, the furnace, regardless of its condition, is subject to planned preventive repairs, current, medium and capital. It is recommended to perform current repairs every three months of equipment operation. During ongoing repairs, the furnace is carefully cleaned of dirt and debris. The integrity of the parts and structures, the absence of deformation of the elements of the power console and carriage is checked. Worn and deformed parts are replaced by spare parts or restored. Current repairs are carried out, as a rule, without disassembling the mechanisms.

Medium repairs are recommended every nine months of equipment operation. Unlike the current repairs, the condition of the equipment is checked more fully with partial disassembly of the units, if necessary, the furnace lining is repaired with partial replacement of worn-out plates.

Major repairs are recommended every 5 years of operation. During major repairs, a complete audit of all equipment is carried out, replacement of worn and deformed parts and assemblies, lining is replaced, painting is resumed.

Storage

Before installation, the furnace equipment shall be stored in a closed unheated room according to storage condition group "3" in accordance with GOST 1515069. Short-term (up to 12 months) storage is allowed under a canopy.

Preservation of metal structures of the furnace is carried out according to GOST 9.01478 with inhibitory lubricants, which ensure the equipment commissioning without disassembly, revision and depreservation during the warranty period. During long-term storage of the device equipment, preservation shall resume.

Transportation

The assembly units and lining materials of the furnace can be transported by rail in accordance with the "Rules for the transportation of goods approved by the IPU, as well as with the" Technical conditions for the loading and attachment of goods "and by road according to the storage conditions group" Z "in accordance with GOST 1515069.

Equipment shall be shipped by main installation units. Each shipping location shall be overall and transportable.

Utilization

Equipment is disposed of after the end of its service life and is carried out by cutting component parts into fragments and submitting them for scrap. The components of the furnace do not contain substances that can harm the health of others during the recycling work.
