Initial data: end wheel cutting modulus m = 4 mm, number of teeth of wheel being cut z1 = 19, number of teeth of mating wheel z2 = 35, wheel teeth inclination angle  = 30 °, engagement angle  = 20 °, initial contour displacement factor x = 0, material to be treated - steel 

18 CGT, the degree of accuracy of the wheel is 10, the type of treatment is preliminary for subsequent finishing toothfilling, the equipment used is a toothfreather 5353.

To calculate tooth-cutting tools, you need to know the geometric parameters of the wheels being machined

To ensure 10 degree of accuracy of the wheel to be cut in accordance with GOST 9324-80, we accept the milling cutter of type 2, one-piece, accuracy class C. The material of the milling cutter is steel P6M5. According to Table P1, we assign the main structural dimensions of the worm cutter. External diameter of the cutter da0 = 80 mm. Number of chip grooves (number of teeth in circumference) z0 = 10. Diameter of cutter mounting hole d = 32 mm. Number of cuts z10 = 2.

Mill Teeth Profile Elements in Normal Section

The corner of a profile of a mill of n0 is accepted by n1 of a profile of teeths of a wheel equal to a corner: n0 = 20 °.
