In this project, a line for the production of expanded clay is considered. Technological calculation was also made for the equipment for the line.
The graphic part contains the technological scheme of expanded clay by the dry method, the plan of the equipment, and the section of the furnace.
The course project contains 1 sheet of A1 graphic part, 49 pages of an explanatory note containing 8 figures, 4 tables and 17 sources.
Expanded clay is a light porous material of cellular structure in the form of gravel, less often in the form of crushed stone, obtained by firing low-melting clay rocks.
The raw materials for the production of expanded clay are clay rocks, mainly sedimentary rocks. Some rock-like clay rocks - shales, mudstones - are metamorphic.
