Introduction

The purpose of the course work "Water treatment plants of heat supply systems" is to fix theoretical material on the main issues of discipline.

The equipment of modern thermal power plants is operated at high heat loads, which requires a strict limitation of the thickness of deposits on the heating surfaces of boilers and elements of heat networks. Such deposits are formed from impurities and solutes entering the TPP cycle with feed and make-up water. Therefore, ensuring high quality of the coolant is an important task.

In this work, it is required to calculate and select water treatment equipment for the chemical water treatment workshop of the production and heating boiler house.

Conclusion

During the course work, ionite treatment schemes for boiler feed water and heating system make-up water were selected.

Preparation of make-up water for heat networks with an open heat supply system is carried out according to the scheme of single-stage sodium cation with regeneration of filters. Preparation of feedwater for steam boilers is carried out according to the scheme of two-stage sodium cationization with regeneration of filters.

The number of sodium cationite filters for each of the water preparation schemes was calculated. The geometric characteristics of the filters as well as their performance were calculated.

Atmospheric and vacuum deaerators were selected.
