Additional information

Introduction

The most important task of modern construction production is to increase the level of comfort of buildings at the minimum cost of material and energy resources. Creation of comfortable conditions in the premises of residential, communal and public buildings necessary to improve the health of a person and increase his creative activity.

The purpose of the work is to design and calculate the water supply, booster plant, hydraulic calculation of the water supply network, as well as the design and calculation of the internal and yard sewers.

Internal water supply

For residential buildings in which less than 12 fire cranes are installed, as well as with a number of apartments less than 500, one water supply inlet is assigned.

It is advisable to lay the entry into the middle of the building at right angles to the building wall. In the presence of booster pumps, which are usually located in a separate building, the input is sent from the place of tie-in to the street network, first to this building, then to a residential building. The water metering unit is located directly behind the external wall of the building in a convenient and easily accessible room with artificial or natural lighting with a temperature of at least 5 degrees Celsius. In water supply systems with booster pumps, when they were located in a separate room, the water meter is installed in the same room as the pumps. Residential buildings with a height of less than 12 floors with basements are equipped with household and drinking water supply with a dead end network and with lower wiring.

Horizontal pipelines are laid with a slope of at least 0.02 towards the inlet or risers.

During joint laying in channels with pipelines transporting hot water or steam, the water supply network shall be located below these pipelines with thermal insulation device.

Domestic sewage system

The internal sewerage system of residential buildings is designed to divert sewage from sanitary devices, as well as rain and meltwater from the roofs of buildings. The internal sewerage system includes: sewage receivers, drain pipes, risers, ventilation exhaust pipes and outlets.

Risers are installed in the places where groups of sanitary devices are located and, if possible, closer to toilets. They are installed, open at walls and partitions or hidden in furrows, niches, blocks and mounting shafts. Branch pipes from sanitary devices are connected openly above the floor, as well as secretly in slab structures, rectilinear with a slope to the riser. To connect the branch pipes to the riser, use tees and crosses. The domestic sewage network shall be ventilated through risers, the exhaust part of which shall be discharged through the roof or the building ventilation shaft to a height of 0.3 m from the flat continuous non-operated roof.

Internal domestic sewerage networks should be provided for inspection and cleaning. The extension should be laid with a slope of at least 0.02. The releases should be connected to the external network at an angle of at least 90 °. Minimum depth of pipeline laying is allowed to be accepted for pipes with a diameter of 500 mm by 0.3 m less than freezing depth, but not less than 0.7 m from the ground surface.

Conclusion

As a result of the work, the following conclusion can be made:

Instant daily cold water flow Q day = 20480 l/day; this is the calculated water flow rate for which the designed water supply is calculated.

A 1.5K8/19 pump with a power of P = 1.5kW is selected, which is capable of creating the required head. Two pumps are used: working and standby.

The accepted diameters of sewage risers D = 100mm provide for the reception of waste water and their removal outside the building.

Diameters of yard sewage pipes are 100mm.
