Description

STRUCTURAL PART

General Design Diagram and Operating Principle

The trolley is designed to drain waste oil from MTZ tractors, and is also suitable for the same type of operations with other brands of cars and tractors.

The frame consists of a welded tank with a capacity of 60 liters, reinforced with corners on the sides and channels - from below. At the edges of the channels are bent and axes are welded to them, on which wheels 2 are attached. For the convenience of moving the trolley there is a folding handle 3. A ratchet assembly 4 is mounted on the front side of the frame and rotates 360o by means of a rotation mechanism 5. Rod 6 of ratchet assembly moves in plane through angle of 150 °. On the upper end of the rod there is installed a bath for oil drain 8 with a mesh, which holds the plug and prevents large contaminants from entering the hose 11. The hose is inserted into the connector welded to the frame. Device 7 for quick disconnection of hose from bath is fixed at the other end of hose. In order to disconnect the hose, it is necessary to turn the lever 9 down until stop, and leave it in this position when the oil is drained. Connection takes place automatically when the device (7) is inserted into the bath connector (return the lever (9) to the initial position before connection). The hose is attached to the rod using the clamp 13, which allows you to quickly connect and disconnect the hose at the drain position and in the connected state. In folded state, rod (6) is placed on holder (10), which keeps it from movements during transportation of trolley and during storage. On top of the tank there is a viewing window 14 indicating that the tank is full (fission price is 5 mm).

Description of waste oil drain process:

• Check correct arrangement of trolley parts and completeness.

• Set the oil dump trolley to the operating position.

• Pull the trolley to the car.

• Adjust the position of the rod so that the bath does not contact parts of the car during its movements.

• Pull the trolley under the tractor.

• Adjust the position of the bath relative to the drain hole of the engine crankcase (provide sufficient clearance for unscrewing of the drain plug).

• Unscrew the drain plug (the plug falls into the bath and is held by the mesh).

• Wait for the oil to be completely drained.

• Roll out the trolley from under the car.

• Bring the trolley to transport state (place the rod in the holder)
