Introduction

The thermal diagram of a nuclear power plant is a set of equipment elements and connections between them, graphically depicting the technological process of generating a given amount of electric energy by transmitting and converting energy from nuclear to electric.

To calculate the thermal scheme - this means to minimize the initial data to calculate the missing parameters and characteristics of the scheme.

The initial data for the thermal diagram calculation is:

- Type of turbine unit;

- Initial parameters of the pair: P0, MPa; t0, ° C;

- Steam parameters in intermediate superheaters (separators);

- Steam pressure in the condenser;

- Electric power of the turbine unit, Ne, MW.

The thermal diagrams show the composition of the main and main auxiliary mechanisms and devices of NPP STP, functional connections between them, as well as the main heat flows of the working circuit and the movement of the working medium in it.

In this course design, we will calculate the NPP STP with K2204.4 turbine manufactured by KhTZ.

Selection of turbine plant auxiliary equipment

Feed pumps

Select feed pump of PEA85065 type and one backup pump.

Condensate pumps

As pumps of the first rise we accept the KsVA630125 pump.

Deaerator

Select deaerator of DP1000/100A type.

Low Pressure Heaters (LPA)

Select low pressure heaters:

PN-800-29-7 - IA,

PN-800-29-7 - IIA,

PN-800-29-7 - IIIA,

PN-800-29-7 - IVA,

PN-800-29-7 - VA.

High Pressure Heater

Select the high pressure heater:

PV-1600-92-15A - 2,

PV-1600-92-20A - 2,

PV-1600-92-30A - 2.

Conclusion

During the course project, the following calculations were made:

thermal diagram of K2204.4 turbine unit;

thermal calculation of IPA and optimization of its characteristics;

calculation of heat value coefficients of takeoff and analysis of technical solutions according to the thermal circuit;

calculation of turbine plant technical and economic parameters;

selection of turbine plant auxiliary equipment.
