Technological scheme of the distribution station

GDS gas distribution stations (as well as AGDS, hydraulic fracturing) are designed to supply gas to consumers (settlements, industrial enterprises, etc.) in a given amount, with a certain pressure, the required degree of purification, odorization.

The gas distribution station includes: 

1. Nodes:
   1. a) station switching (designed to switch the flow of high-pressure gas from automatic to manual pressure control along the bypass line, as well as to prevent an increase in pressure in the gas supply line using safety valves);
   2. b) gas purification (designed to prevent the ingress of mechanical (solid and liquid) impurities into process and gas control equipment and controls and automation);
   3. c) prevention of hydrate formation (designed to prevent freezing of valves and the formation of crystalline hydrates in gas pipelines and valves);
   4. d) gas reduction (designed to reduce and automatically maintain the set pressure of the supplied gas, the gas metering unit is designed to account for the amount of gas consumption using various flow meters and meters);
   5. e) gas heating;
   6. f) commercial gas flow measurement (designed to account for the amount of gas consumption using various flow meters and meters);
   7. g) gas odorization (designed to add substances with a sharp unpleasant odor (odorants) to the gas, this allows timely detection of gas leaks by smell without special equipment);
   8. h) autonomous power supply;
   9. i) extraction of gas for own needs;
