Introduction

In industrial buildings, the process often requires the installation of work sites raised above the floor or floor. These sites can contain workers, various materials, accessories, vehicles, etc.

The main element of the metal work platform is steel flooring, supported by a system of secondary beams. The latter rest on the main beams, which are installed on the system of metal columns. The platforms are equipped with stairs, railings, process openings. To make the structure stable, the columns are braced in longitudinal and transverse directions.

The task of designing the work site, as well as other structures and structures, is to satisfy the set technological requirements and operational reliability conditions with minimum metal consumption, minimum cost and labor intensity of manufacturing and installation of the structure.

In the designed work site, loads acting directly on the steel flooring are transferred to them on secondary beams. The latter transfer the load to the main beams, and they transfer it to the system of metal columns and their foundations.

Job for coursework and initial data

Build, calculate and design the structural elements of the work site, including the central compressed column, with the following input:

The layout and size of the site in the plan 3A × 3B; A = 10 m; V = 5 m;

Floor elevation 0.000 ;

The elevation of the top of the flooring is 6,000 m;

The building height of the slab is not limited;

Temporary standard evenly distributed load

30 kN/m2;

Structure material:

Flooring: steel of normal strength;

Secondary and auxiliary beams: steel of ordinary strength;

Main beams: steel of increased strength;

Columns: steel of normal strength;

Concrete of B15 class foundations;

Column section type: solid;

Weldment joint: welded;

The building is heated.
