Lightning protection system
According to the lightning protection device, the building of the multifunctional complex belongs to category III. As the interception rod the lightning protection grid from round steel d=8mm with a step of 10 m laid under a soft roof on a nonflammable basis is used, as well as the steel roof as a conductor cable is used fittings of columns of the building with a diameter not less than 8 mm. Reinforcement of building piles with area not less than 80 mm.sq is used as grounding conductor. The pitch of vertical current leads is 20 m, the pitch of horizontal current leads on the walls of the building is 20 m, which corresponds to the "Instruction on lightning protection of buildings, structures and industrial communications" No. SO15334.21.122-2003
Protective safety measures
The project provides for the following activities to ensure safety and health measures:
- protective grounding and grounding of electrical equipment;
- placement of electrical equipment in places convenient for maintenance;
- selection of reduced voltage for local portable lighting, at that, before lowering transformers, separation transformers are installed (PUE ch. 6.1.18);
- availability of a set of protective means ensuring safety against electric trams during operation of electrical installations.
The building uses the following protective electrical safety measures:
• use of a protective zero conductor in the group (plug) network;
• connection of luminaire housings to the protective zero conductor;
• grounding of electrical installations;
• potential equalization system
• connection of sockets via RCD (protective disconnection devices).

Organization of operation
Electrical installations shall be operated by trained electrical personnel.
Verification (primary, periodic, extraordinary) of personnel knowledge of rules, job descriptions and production instructions shall be carried out according to item 1.3.14. PTE EP of electrical stations and networks. The knowledge of each employee is checked individually. The results of the knowledge check are recorded in the log of the established form and signed by all members of the commission
The RP maintenance personnel shall have documentation on permissible operating modes under normal and emergency conditions.
Work in the existing electrical installations shall be performed according to the work permit, the form of which and instructions for its filling are given in Appendix No. 4 of the Labor Protection Rules (POT).
During works, organizational measures shall be performed, as per Chapter 2 of POS.
Technical measures to ensure safety of works (Chapter 3 of PET) shall be performed by performing works:
- protective disconnections;
- hanging of prohibition posters;
- check of no voltage;
-installation of grounding.
Fire safety measures
Electrical equipment of the building with regard to fire safety is designed in accordance with the current codes and regulations.
When a fire occurs in the building and the fire alarm is triggered, automatic shutdown of ventilation is provided. According to the automation project, block disconnection is performed (termination of power supply to the ventilation switchboard).
