Introduction

Roof - the upper element of the roof, arranged to protect the building from atmospheric precipitation.

The roof must withstand not only atmospheric precipitation, but also high (summer) and low (winter) temperatures, solar radiation, acid rain and mechanical stresses during operation and repair. The roof shall meet the requirements of repairability, reliability and durability.

The abovementioned requirements are fully satisfied by the metal blanket roof. Metal lining refers: in shape - to sheet, piece, and in type of material - to metal roofing materials.

In accordance with the material, roofing work is carried out on the arrangement of the metal roof.

The recommendations given in MDS 1281 are used in drawing up the work execution design.

After approval by the management of the organization as the organization standard, the work project is a regulatory document.

The organization standard for roofing works is necessary not only for the performance of works, but will also be in demand when licensing a construction organization (company) for the production of this type of work, when certifying a quality management system, when certifying the quality of roofs.

The provisions of SNiP 3.04.0187 "Insulation and finishing coatings," domestic and European standards, modern achievements of science and technology, experience in the construction of roofs from metal pieces were used in the development of the work project.

The work execution project contains building codes and regulations that ensure the quality of roofing works at the level of modern requirements. However, the provisions of the document are designed to allow the organization (subject to standard requirements) to adjust the methods and techniques of work to take into account local conditions.

Scope of Application

This Job Instruction is made for arrangement of rafter roof system made of bars and boards with grating made of bars for roof from sheets of metal sheet for residential building. The process plan provides for the arrangement of load-bearing roof elements from wooden logs, bars and board rafter trusses.

The works provided by this Job Instruction include the following:

mauerlats;

racks and runs;

rafters and straps;

farms;

hearing windows;

grids;

sheets of metal scrapers;

steam insulation;

heat insulation.

Materials for the roofing system shall be supplied using the mast load lift C598A.

Organization and procedure of works execution

2.1 Prior to installation of the rafter system, perform the following organizational and preparatory measures and works:

- make and accept the underlying structures, including installation of attic slab, cornice arrangement, installation of ventilation risers above attic slab and roof;

- install a mast cargo lift;

- prepare tools, accessories, equipment;

- deliver materials and products to the workplace,

- issue a work permit for high-risk work;

- familiarize the performers with the technology and organization of works.

2.2 Prepared in advance, treated with protective compositions, marked and spacketed elements of the rafters system are supplied to the attic floor. At the same time, inventory scavenging means for mounting are supplied.

2.3 Installation of rafter system elements from inclined rafters shall be performed with breakdown of the work front for gripping in the following order:

- installing mauerlates;

- installation of posts, runs and trusses;

- a lattice is installed.

2.4 Installation of mauerlats is performed with preliminary gasket along the top of walls of 2 layers of roll waterproofing.

2.5 After the mauerlats are placed in the design position, the stands are installed on the bed, temporarily bracing them with fights and braces. Then skate run is laid along posts, its position is adjusted by means of level and elements are fixed with nails.

2.6 Rafters' legs and braces from boards shall be installed in the following order:

- breakdown on mauerlats of design position of rafters legs;

- selected in the nest mauerlats;

- Sliding inventory racks and inventory scaffolds shall be installed;

- lay the elements of compound rafter legs: lower - on the mauerlat and in the fork of the sliding post, upper - between the upper linings and in the fork of the sliding post;

- align the upper planes of both elements of the composite rafter legs by means of a rack and a sliding post;

- fixing with nails the place of conjugation of elements of composite leg and brace;

- places of connection of rafter legs with mauerlats and ends of rafter legs on supports are additionally antiseptic.

Conclusion

Historically, most buildings of mass urban development in Russia have flat roofs. Moreover, this type of roofing structure does not lose its relevance in modern construction. This is due to the possibility of using flat roofs on buildings of any area, comparative simplicity and ease of operation.

Of the several types of flat roofing in our country, the so-called soft roofs (without cement bracing) have been especially popular for many decades. They are not designed for intensive operation, but with the correct selection of materials they can withstand significant loads.

Due to the cheapness and simplicity of installation, such roofs began to be actively used in the era of mass construction - they are equipped with most high-rise buildings built from the 1960s to the 1990s, schools and kindergartens, office buildings and shopping centers. As a waterproofing layer, cheap roll materials such as ruberoid were used here. However, this material has a high water absorption, becomes brittle in the cold, and therefore does not differ in long service life. So the general problem of such roofs, still in operation today, is the constant leakage and the need for repair every few years.

Recently, it has become obvious that the most promising is a systematic approach to the arrangement of a soft roof, which should take into account the joint work of all elements of the roof cake in specific conditions. The use of modern roll materials (polymer membranes), durable heat insulation plates and special fasteners literally gave new life to this type of roof. Particularly effective, according to experts, is the use of roofing systems, all components of which are offered by one supplier. Given the high quality and interoperability of the components, the service life of such systems is not less than 25 years, of course, when installed by qualified specialists.

Practice shows that most problems in the operation of flat roofs occur as a result of illiterate work and incorrect selection of heat insulation and adhesive materials, and not because of the erroneous design of the roof itself. At the same time, a competently made flat roof will serve for many years, significantly increase the thermal protection and fire safety of the building as a whole. Modern roofing systems provide all the possibilities for the construction of durable and most reliable flat roofs, and their use allows not only to reduce heat and energy loss, but also to significantly save on operation.
