Brief description of the workshop

This equipment is installed in the operating hydrochemistry workshop, in

leaching department of JSC AGK, which simultaneously carries out two technological operations: suspension filtration and thickening

precipitate obtained as a result of filtration. Filtration and thickening

all concentrates of concentration plants are subjected to treatment.

The Hydrochemistry Shop consists of three main departments:

Leaching compartment. Designed for translation

aluminium-containing components in nepheline speck from a solid state to a liquid state. Useful leaching separation product

is an aluminate solution of AlOH3, and the production waste is sludge.

Deblocking compartment. Designed for de-sizing

alyuminatny solution (alyuminatny solution is purified from harmful

impurities SiO2).

Carbonization separation. Designed to translate aluminate

solution in solid state-aluminium hydroxide AlOH3 (fine-grained

white powder).

Rules of operation of thickener filter

Operating Rules:

check and add oil to reduction gear box;

check and lubricate the open transmission during thickener stops;

check reliability of drive mechanisms attachment, if necessary

perform tightening;

check availability and reliability of fencing attachment;

check the condition of the actuator half-couplings;

lubricate the gate screw in a timely manner;

at short-term stops of thickener fill it with hot water, so

how a decrease in temperature can lead to collapse;

in case of emergency stop of rake, thickener must be unloaded from sludge

and only after that is it allowed to re-enable the agitator

devices;

at actuation of alarm of stirring device overload

device of thickener, repulpator to take measures to eliminate causes

overload;

drive and area around thickener should be kept clean.

5 ECOLOGY

5.1 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

The production environment in the carbonation compartment is heterogeneous, in it

there are various substances and factors that have harmful effects on

state of the environment: release of moisture and a significant amount

heat, alkaline aerosols, the concentration of which increases in winter

due to the decrease in air exchange, the presence of high air temperatures,

noise, sewage.

To ensure safe working conditions, maximum permissible concentrations (MPC) of harmful impurities in the air of the working zone are normalized,

production premises according to the nature of their impact

on the body.

The MPC of alkaline aerosols in air is 0.5 mg/m ³.

The MPC noise level is 80 dB.

Main carbonization compartment equipment: carbonizers,

decomposers, stirrers, thickeners, filters are isolated into the environment:

alkaline aerosols, also moisture release and a significant amount of heat,

noise, sewage.

To maintain maximum permissible concentrations under the equipment

exhaust caps are installed. Temperature, humidity and

aerosols in the environment are achieved by efficient operation

ventilation plants and natural air exchange.

Ensuring safe working conditions in the workplace is necessary

exclude overflows of aluminate solution, leaks through flange joints

pipelines. To eliminate noise in production resort to

sound insulation and sound absorption equipment. Under soundproofing

is understood to reduce the strength of sound when passing sound energy

through building structures, for example through walls separating two

adjacent rooms.

In the carbonization department, the technological process passes with

using industrial water, therefore wastewater is formed,

which are subjected to the mechanical cleaning method, that is, the method

settling in special settling tanks.
