General part
Designed building - one-story industrial building
Object Name - Steel Structure Shop
Construction area - Vladivostok
Ground freezing depth - 1.41 m
Estimated winter temperature of the coldest five days

Heating period duration no = 132 days.
The building consists of three spans:
1 - metal storage, procurement compartment;
2 - etching compartment, mechanical section;
3 - installation and painting areas, finished products warehouse.
Frame material - reinforced concrete.
Spans 1, 2:
-length 48 m
- width 24 m
Span 3:
-length 60 m
- width 24 m
Column pitch is taken as B = 6m.
Height of columns in 1, 2 spans is 10.8 m, in 3 spans - 14.4 m
Internal transport:
In 1 span there is suspended crane, in 2 bridge crane with lifting capacity Q = 20t and in 3 bridge crane with lifting capacity Q = 30t.
Curtain walls.
Canopy is located in 2 span.
Master Plan
The master plan is the plan of the area on which the designed building is located. A rectangular section with dimensions of 200 × 150 m.
The main facade of the building is oriented south (facade 1-12).
The site has landscaping in the form of lawns, flowerbeds, separate trees. As a protection against noise, ordinary planting of trees along the road is provided. The building has a pavement with a width of 1.0m, entrances with a width of 6m, a production site, a footpath with a width of 1.0m from reinforced concrete tiles of 0.5x0.5m. Along the perimeter of the territory of the designed building, a metal fence with an entrance and passage for vehicles should be installed.
Structural solution of the building
This designed building is multi-span, single-storey, crane, with a column pitch of 6.0 m, unheated, with natural ventilation, combined lighting with a lamp superstructure. The structural diagram of the building is a reinforced concrete frame.
The building has a simple plan configuration in the form of three rectangles connected to each other. The size of the building is 60x73 m. The one-story building has different heights: rooms 1, 2, 10.8m, 3-14.4m. There are no basements, technical subpoles and technical floors. The building is equipped with bridge cranes Q = 20t and Q = 30t, suspended cranes Q = 1t.
4.1. Bases
In the designed building, the foundations are made separate for each column. Foundations consist of a sub-column and a slab part. Depending on the type of load transferred to the foundation, the required number of pillows is selected. The dimensions of the sub-column and foundation cushions are determined based on the dimensions of the columns. The columns are installed in a cup and ground with concrete. The top of the foundation is located at -0.15 m.
Foundation laying depth -1.8 m.
4.2. Walls.
The non-bearing external walls (curtain walls) perform a guarding function and they transfer their weight to the frame columns, with the exception of the lower sill tier resting on the foundation beams. Walls are made of reinforced concrete wall panels 300 mm thick (based on heat engineering calculation). According to the location in the building, the panels are divided into ordinary, basement, simple, parapet and angular.
There are no internal walls and partitions.
4.3. Foundation beams
Foundation beams are laid between the foundations, serve to ensure the stiffness of the foundation and to support the walls. The top of the foundation beam is located at an elevation of -0.03 m. It is laid on reinforced concrete columns. Beams are installed on grout gravy with thickness of 20 mm.
4.4. Columns
For the designed building, three types of reinforced concrete columns are used:
- for spans with overhead cranes (right part of 1 span) - constant cross-section with height of 10.8 m;
- for span with bridge crane (2 span) - single-line with a height of 10.8 m;

Column with foundation is rigidly connected. The columns have embedded elements for fastening crane beams, rafters, wall panels (in columns of extreme rows). Anchor bolts are passed through steel sheets at support points of rafters and crane beams.
