Introduction

The main design objects for the course "Machine Parts" are

mechanical gears for converting rotational movements or

rotational motion into translational motion.

The purpose of this course project is to develop among students

skills in design of mechanical units, evaluation of methods

design, design of couplings, gears and other components.

This work consists of several parts, namely calculation -

explanatory note and graphic part. Calculation and explanatory

The note consists of several steps, such as an explanatory note,

where preliminary calculation of gearbox parameters is presented,

check calculation, where the calculation is carried out, as well as data verification,

calculated at the first stage of the course project. Also this work

includes selection of electric motor by parameters of reduction gear box, calculation

base plates and design of connecting coupling.

The graphic part of the task is a drawing of the gearbox view,

general view of reduction gear box assembled with electric motor. To graphic work

attached is the gearbox specification.
