Description
The plan is a section of the plant for the production of reinforced concrete slabs, a formwork-free method. The development of HOLEDECK is known, which involves the production of slabs with increased voids and the use of heavy concrete. Structural molds made of polypropylene are used as voids of formers.
The Spanish company HOLEDECK introduced a caisson floor system, which, thanks to technological holes, allows using 55% less concrete than a standard reinforced concrete slab. Having significantly reduced the thickness of the plates compared to previous years, this innovative development allowed not only to reduce the consumption of materials , but also to maintain the total height of the structure, to place more floors, while the height of the ceiling of the room remains unchanged.
The use of the innovative HOLEDECK system makes it possible to eliminate parts of concrete in the neutral axis of the slab, which does not carry structural load. The void of the caissons in the lower part of the floor plate reduces the weight of the article, which allows increasing the pitch of the columns. Molds do not remain embedded like other polystyrene or polymer molds.
