Description
The packing absorber consists of a column in which support grids are placed, on which the nozzle layers are laid. The reflux liquid is supplied to the nozzle by means of a switchgear. Sometimes the nozzle is laid in several layers, installing separate supporting grids under each layer. The flow of gas and liquid in the nozzle absorbers is usually counter-current. The disadvantage of nozzle absorbers is the difficulty of removing heat during absorption. Circulating heat removal is usually used using remote refrigerators.
