Description
Mechanisms of parallel kinematic structure are devices whose actuating link is connected to the base using several independent kinematic chains. A distinctive feature of such machines, called "hexapods" abroad, is the comparative simplicity of the design, high rates of movement, acceleration and rigidity of the machine, and a simple feedback system. For the main drive in such machines, a high-speed motor is used - a spindle.
