Description
For decades, the mineral resource base of Western Siberia has been an almost reliable source of extensive development of our country. Possessing a vast territory and a variety of geological conditions, Western Siberia, as geological exploration expanded to the east of the Urals, showed more and more new major geological discoveries [1]. The oil industry is one of the leading and rapidly developing sectors of our national economy. Densely populated areas of the Center and North-West of Russia, which are large consumers, do not have oil fields, and in other regions located west of the Volga, production is negligible. The increase in Siberian oil production significantly determines the provision of other regions with oil and oil products. The exceptional features of the West Siberian Lowland in the form of huge fuel resources and a high degree of concentration of reserves in the depths of large and unique fields create natural prerequisites for the creation of a large oil production base of the country, characterized by high economic efficiency in the use of oil resources, despite the difficulties associated with their development. At present, field development and reconstruction must be carried out taking into account the maximum reduction of economic costs and operating costs, since in the total volume of capital investments for the development, operation, transportation and processing of oil and gas, a significant share falls on the development of fields, the creation of systems for gathering and transporting oil and gas from wells to gathering points.
