Description
Horizontal shell-and-tube heat exchanger - a device designed for heat transfer between two flows. One flow passes through the tube space, while the other flows in the annular space.
This work presents a single-pass shell-and-tube heat exchanger with 42 tubes. The shell material is made of steel 08X18H10T.
In this device, the process of cooling the raw material occurs in the annular space. The coolant is cold water. As a result of the heat exchange, the raw material is cooled, and the coolant is heated. The supply and discharge of water are carried out through nozzles on the shell. The raw material is discharged through a fitting in the cover.
