Gantry Type Car Repair Machine

The BPM machine is a U-shaped gantry. The side struts of the gantry are welded to the beams of the lower frame, which rests on the wheels. The side struts of the frame are guides for the movement of hydraulic cylinders designed for straightening the upper and lower strapping of the body frame, struts and braces. The movement of hydraulic cylinders is carried out using an electric drive. 

The hydraulic drive of all devices is powered by an oil pump (35 l/min) driven by a 2.5 kW electric motor.

The hydraulic drive can be controlled on both sides of the machine using hydraulic valves. 

The car repair machine is designed for the repair of gondola cars and allows you to perform the following operations:

 - straightening of the side panels of the car, including straightening of the upper piping, straightening of intermediate, pivot and corner posts, pressing of the racks to transverse intermediate and pivot beams;  

 - Replacement of end doors;

 - replacement of unloading hatches;

 - change of the automatic coupler housing;

 - Replacement of springs, friction wedges;

 - electric welding works.
