Description
According to the theme of the project, it is necessary to select and describe four plunger lifts. They are used to lift cars. The hoist shall meet all conditions for maintenance of the car in suspension. Development is carried out on the basis of the conducted search, based on the chosen technical solution for this lift.

Introduction
Now life without a car is not possible. On vehicles, goods are transported, ground is dug, used as a personal mobile means. Auto technicians have to constantly monitor the innovations: to provide high-quality repairs for the car.
The reliability and service life of the units depends on: the ratio to the car, its careful operation; operating conditions, weather conditions, pavement; maintenance, the level of training of personnel in the diagnosis and repair of transport, the quality of consumables and spare parts.
Every car has to be monitored. There are different types of services: daily, seasonal, TO1, TO-2.
Lifting equipment plays an important role in car maintenance. The main task of the lift is to raise the car for inspection and repair of vehicles
There are different types of lifts:
- Plunger (single plunger, two plunger, three plunger, four plunger).
Pros:
more free space, you can approach from different sides,
High reliability, ease of use, smooth running, quiet operation, full access, compact design, availability of a wide range of lifts with different number of plungers. Plunger lifts can be easily combined with wheel angle mounting stands.
Cons:
High cost, installation complexity.
- Rack lifts (single-rack, double-rack, four-rack lifts)
Electromechanical hoists.
Air-operated lifts.
Elevators with electrohydraulic drive.
The market for lifts is not very diverse. Lifts do not differ much from each other in characteristics.

A search was carried out with the aim of developing a suitable for modern car service.

Proposed measures for labor protection and environmental safety.
Solving the problems of introducing improvement and development of new types of technological equipment of its effective operation requires deep knowledge about the design, principle of operation, operation and design of technological equipment in relation to various production processes of maintenance and repair
