3. Automatic fire alarm installation

3.1. Purpose of the system

Protection and fire alarm is the basic part of the complex of engineering and technical systems for fire protection of the building, protection against unauthorized penetration of unauthorized persons into the territory of the protected object, for the timely detection of fire, and is aimed at protecting the life and health of persons in the territory, protection of material and information assets in the building, protection of engineering and technical systems from unauthorized access to them, transmission of fire information to the security post and to the fire department, as well as generation of warning system control signals.

3.2. Technical solutions adopted in the project

Considering the architectural and construction (storey, location of the security post, etc.) and technological (temperature conditions, power supply category, etc.) features of the building, the Russian-made Signal20M security and fire control and control equipment of NVP Bolid was used as central equipment.

The fire-fighting condition of the premises is monitored by:

IP-212-41M smoke fire detectors installed on ceilings of controlled rooms;

manual fire detectors IPRI, which are installed on the walls at a height of 1.5 m from the floor level on the escape routes at the exits.

According to SP 5.13130.2009 the following rooms are equipped with fire alarm:

control room room

technical rooms

switchboard

water metering unit room

Manual fire detectors are installed in the storage rooms for cars.

To organize control and protection against penetration into the territory of the building, magnetic contact detectors are installed on the doors of the building that are activated for opening.

3.3. Description of device and system operation

The system status is displayed on the instrument with color light signals. Modes "Fault" and "Fire" are duplicated with sound signals.

In standby mode, the receiving and control device, by means of voltage drop control, performs constant diagnostics of alarm loops serviceability (break, short circuit). At the same time, the light indicators of the loops shine green. "Norma" signal is broadcast on the PCP.

In case of a break or a short circuit in the fire loop, the receiving and monitoring device reproduces a sound signal, and the light indicator of the faulty loop alternates with red and green light. "Failure" signal is transmitted to the PCP with indication of loop number.

In case of fire from the occurrence of fire factors (smoke), smoke detectors and/or manual detectors are automatically activated. The control and receiving device detects the voltage drop at the detector and, to prevent false actuation by 3 s, turns off the power supply of the operated loop. In case of repeated detection of voltage drop, the device sets to "Fire" mode, at that:

- loop light indicator is red;

- "Fire" sound signal is played, which is different from failure signal;

- power is supplied to light and sound annunciators; on the PCP; the signal "Fire" is broadcast.

The protective SHS is considered to be broken if its resistance is out of the normal range, and also if the SHS resistance has changed dramatically by more than 10%. Violation of the SH taken for protection places it in the "Intrusion alarm" state at the same time:

- sound signal "Intrusion alarm" differing from the signal failure and "Fire" is played;

- power is supplied to light and sound annunciators; on the PCP; "Intrusion alarm" signal is broadcast.

3.4. Equipment composition and location

In the security room and control room (No. 103 at the elevation of 0.000):

"Signal20M" safety and fire control device;

Standby power supply RIP24isp.05.

The following are installed in the protected rooms:

smoke fire detectors optoelectronic IP-212-41M

manual fire detectors IPR-I

At the street exits from the staircases, the following are installed:

"IO-102-26" magitocontact security detectors.

4. Fire warning system for people.

4.1. Purpose of the system

The fire warning system is designed for timely warning of personnel and visitors to the building about the occurrence of fire danger, in order to avoid panic and undesirable accumulation of people in the aisles.

4.2. Technical solutions adopted in the project

The second type warning system as per SP 3.13130.2009 is provided at the facility.

In accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents, fire alarm equipment is used as the central warning equipment.

Light-and-sound fire annunciators "Svirel2 is.03" are used for warning.

The number and placement of alerts is selected taking into account audibility in all places where temporary or permanent stay of people is possible. The sound level of the alert exceeds the noise level in the protected premises by 15 db, while the sound level is not more than 120 db.

The operation time of the warning system is calculated on the condition of the required time for the complete evacuation of visitors and personnel of the facility.

4.3. Description of device and system operation

Communication of the warning system and fire alarm is provided by means of transfer contacts of the receiving and monitoring device and switching devices included in the warning circuit.

In standby mode, the jumper contacts are open, the annunciators are disconnected from the power supply circuit and are included in the line control loop for break and short circuit.

In case of fire, the control and receiving device outputs a signal for switching of the swing contact, the power supply circuit of the sound annunciators closes, they begin to reproduce the " Fire" signal

4.4. Equipment composition and location

The following are installed in the protected rooms:

Sound annunciators "Svirel2 is.03."

5. Cable links

Fire detector monitoring loops shall be made by 1x2x0.75FRLS FFCS cable;

annunciator power supply loop is performed by 2x1.5FRLS PVA cable;

annunciator power supply loop is performed by 3x1.5FRLS VBGng cable.

All wires and cables are laid in pipes of flexible corrugated PVC, branching boxes are used for branching.

6. Power supply of the units.

Power supply of all fire-fighting automation systems is carried out in the first category. To do this, two independent inputs of the EE performed according to the project or redundant power supplies with built-in batteries are used.

7. Information on organization of production and maintenance of installation works.

Installation of the plant is recommended to be carried out in the following sequence: preparatory work, measurements of protected rooms, installation of wiring, installation of detectors and devices.

Preparatory work includes the preparation of building materials and workplaces.

Condition of electrical wires and cables before laying shall be checked by external inspection. In addition to inspection, the integrity of insulation of the cores must be checked.

Regulations for maintenance of the fire alarm unit shall be developed by the customer on site and in accordance with the current rules and instructions of the manufacturers.
