Introduction

Due to the widespread expansion of production, construction of new enterprises, residential neighborhoods, electricity consumption is also increasing. At the moment, many substations are very outdated or their power is not enough to power all consumers. Over the past 20 years, the country has undergone significant socio-economic changes, and the transition to a market economy has fundamentally affected the electricity industry. To solve this problem, it is necessary to build new substations with the possibility of their further expansion, reconstruct and upgrade existing substations. All this should occur according to new requirements of economy and reliability.

The design of electric power systems requires a comprehensive approach to the selection and optimization of electrical networks and the feasibility of solutions that determine the composition, structure, external and internal communications, development dynamics, parameters and reliability of the system as a whole and its individual elements. Solving these problems requires the use of a large amount of information posted in various literary sources, regulatory documents, departmental instructions, as well as domestic and foreign experience accumulated for decades.

The topic of the course work is the design of the electrical part of the 110/10 kV lowering substation.

The purpose of this course work is to apply in practice the skills obtained during the training process. For this purpose, a task was obtained to design a new 110/10kV substation based on progressive technical solutions, guided by a certain load of consumers.

According to the goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks in the work:

selection of type, number and power of power transformers;

selection of substation electrical diagram. Selection of the main design solutions of the substation;

calculation of short-circuit currents;

selection of electrical devices;

selection of operating current, measurement system, auxiliary transformers.

The relevance of designing a new 110/10kV substation lies in the development of energy in the region, increasing electricity supply in the region, reducing equipment failures, as well as improving existing networks and increasing the reliability of electricity supplies to consumers, taking into account the increase in electricity consumption in the future.

Conclusion

As a result of the work done, the main equipment of the 110/10 kV downgrade substation was designed, calculated and selected.

Based on the assignment for the course design, the electrical connection diagrams at high, low voltage, as well as the auxiliary power supply diagram of the substation were selected. After that, emergency short-circuit currents were calculated, after which the selection of electrical equipment and equipment of the designed substation was carried out, namely:

switches;

disconnectors;

overvoltage limiters;

package switchgear;

sections of wires of high and low voltage lines;

instrumentation (current transformers, voltage transformers).

When choosing devices, due to their huge variety, preference was given to more modern ones, which best met the necessary parameters and standards.
