Description
The ejector of the main type EO-50M (Fig. 8.10) is designed to remove air trapped in the condenser, in order to maintain a constant vacuum in the latter.
The body of the ejector 21 of welded construction consists of two shells, to which the lid 23 is welded on top, and a special flange 16 is welded on the bottom. Two internal and two lateral partitions form three chambers inside the ejector ("a", "b", "c").
The first stage of the ejector, consisting of a nozzle chamber 24, a diffuser 22, a co-conductor 26 with a nozzle 25, and a second stage of an ejector consisting of a nozzle chamber 31, a diffuser 32, a co-conductor 28 with a nozzle 29 are fixed in the housing cover 23. In the chambers "a" and "c", respectively, diffusers of the first and second stages of the ejector are installed. Each stage of the ejector has its own screw cooler: 10 and 12.
The cooler consists of two packages of tubes placed one above the other. Each packet consists of four coils 6 held together by clamps 3. In height, the coils of coils are separated from each other by spiral partitions 4, which form a screw channel for the movement of the steam-air mixture. The steps between the turns and the spiral partitions shall be maintained by means of space tubes 2 assembled together with clamps and spiral partitions on rods 18 attached from below to the supports 17 and from above to the D-pad 1.
