Introduction

At the rectilinear movement it is simple to feel dimensions of the vehicle, and here during the maneuvering, evolutions from of the same kind in another, turns, turns, parkings quite often there are problems. Beginners, putting a car in a parking lot between two other cars, are perplexed how it could turn out that with a fairly wide corridor, they hooked one side and at the same time hooked the other with a bumper. Similar situations arise when reversing.

The fact is that the size of the lane for the movement of the car during maneuvering, the so-called dynamic corridor, exceeds the overall width of the car. For confident driving in cramped conditions, you need to learn to feel well the dimensions of your car, clearly represent the geometry, the width of its lane at turns, the trajectory of the front and rear wheels. This is achieved by training, but it will not be superfluous to know the theory.

The dynamic corridor of the car noticeably increases with curvilinear movement, during the turn. The cooler the turn, the wider the corridor. Its width (Bk) is equal to the difference between the outer (RH) and inner (Rb) rotation radii. It depends on the base (L), the size of the front overhang (C) and the width of the car (Ba).

Output:

from the graph of the dependence of the width of the dynamic corridor on the speed of the car, it can be seen that there is an almost direct dependence of these indicators. The higher the speed, the larger the calculated width of the dynamic corridor. Therefore, for safe driving at high speeds, it is necessary to provide sufficient width of lanes for driving. It is also clear from the graph that Chevrolet Niva needs more width of the dynamic corridor than for VAZ 2101.

From the graph of the dependence of the width of the dynamic corridor on the rotation angle of the controlled wheels of the car, it is clearly clear that as the rotation angle of the controlled wheels increases, the width of the dynamic corridor also increases. It is also clear from the graph that at the same rotation angles of the controlled wheels of the car, the width of the dynamic corridor at Chevrolet Niva is greater than for the VAZ 2101.
