Description
Schematic diagram of a straight-through drum dryer. Wet material from the hopper is fed into a rotating drying drum using a feeder. Parallel to the material, a drying agent is fed into the dryer, formed from the combustion of fuel in the furnace and the mixing of flue gases with air in the mixing chamber. Air is supplied to the furnace and mixing chamber by fans. The dried material from the opposite end of the drying drum enters the intermediate hopper, and from it to the transporting device.
