Camera Type

The chamber is designed to dry lumber of various rocks and thicknesses in 0, 1, 2 and 3 quality categories.

According to the principle of operation, this camera is periodic. All lumber is simultaneously loaded and simultaneously unloaded from the chamber.

By type of drying agent and method of heat supply - convective air chamber. Electric energy is used as heat carrier.

According to the principle of drying agent circulation - a chamber with horizontal transverse circulation.

Principle of operation

Chamber is divided by vertical screen into drying space, where lumber stack is loaded, and into recirculation channel, where axial fans and calorifer are installed.

The airflow circulates in a closed loop. From the axial fans, it passes in the recirculation channel through the heater, where it is heated. Then air enters the stack, where it gives heat to the wood and absorbs moisture evaporated from it.

Plenum ventilation allows partial release of wet and fresh air.

The mode parameters of the drying agent (temperature and psychrometric temperature difference) in the chamber are controlled by an automatic control system.
