Introduction
Increasing labor productivity based on integrated mechanization and automation of production processes is one of the most important tasks facing forest industry specialists.
The transition of the logging complex to a market economy was accompanied by the collapse of large logging forms of production organization. The number of small-scale logging has increased in recent years. They form significant volumes of wood harvesting in Russia, using technological processes and equipment developed for traditional logging enterprises and characterized by high labor and energy costs, insufficient full use of wood and wood waste diverted to logging.
It is not possible to increase the economic efficiency of small logging enterprises without developing specialized small-sized equipment for harvesting and processing wood raw materials for valuable commodity products.
A prerequisite for the successful introduction of new technology is good training of personnel capable of solving various engineering tasks.
The main objective of the course project is to develop skills for creative work in the field of design of special forest machines. This course project is devoted to design development and justification of gripping parameters for one tree.
Conclusion
When working on this course project, I worked on special literature, patent documents and other scientific and technical materials. This allowed me as a future specialist to gain the necessary experience in selecting the necessary information from literary sources and its effective use in solving specific engineering problems.
In the course of this course work, I designed and calculated a packet grip based on the LP30B machine and received the following values shown in Table 2.
