Designing a Pneumatic Test Fixture

Pneumatic testing of products is carried out to check their strength and tightness. Pneumatic testing is performed with air or inert gas, for which compressors or air blowers are used. 

Prior to the start of pneumatic testing, a technology for the safe conduct of test work under specific conditions should be developed and made known to all test participants.

In this course project, such issues as the justification of the design of the fixture, the load scheme of parts, the choice of materials and coating, strength calculations and the development of a package of working design documentation in a three-dimensional modeling system are considered.

The purpose of this course project is to design a test device based on the terms of reference and develop a package of working design documentation in a three-dimensional modeling system.
