Introduction.
Wood as a building material has been used since ancient times. This was facilitated by the presence of forests, the bone of processing and transportation of wooden elements to the construction site. In addition, wood has good design qualities - significant strength and stop-guest with a relatively small mass.
From the standpoint of dialectical materialism, the historical development of wooden structures as a branch of construction equipment is inevitably associated with the development of production, and therefore society.
The supporting structures of the designed structure are gentle arches made of glued wood, glued panels perform the functions of flooring and runs. These constructions are made by gluing with reliable synthetic adhesives bent and straight glued elements of considerable lengths and sections of the required bearing capacity. Glued wood structures have increased resistance to decay and chemical corrosion, a significant fire resistance limit and can be effectively used in coatings of warehouse, public and industrial buildings where large free internal space is required.
Glue plates are calculated as free-lying on two supports with a design span determined depending on the distance between the supporting structures and the size of the plates resting on them.
The calculation is made on strength and stability, as well as on deflections to normal components of loads from the actual weight and snow, assigned to their full width. Bending moments, transverse forces and maximum deflections are determined from the sum of these two loads.
The gentle plank-glued arches are a package of glued bent boards. The cross section of the arches is straight-coal and constant in length. Static calculation is performed on the computer according to "Arch" program.
