Design of the nipple processing area for submersible pumps

Description

In this diploma project, an analysis of the existing technology for manufacturing a nipple part for submersible pumps was carried out and a new developed technological process for machining this part on modern equipment was proposed in order to reduce the processing time of the part. Automatic loading and unloading of technological equipment by an industrial robot is also designed. As a device for loading parts, the grip of the robot's arm was calculated.

In the technological part of the project, an analysis of the basic technological process was carried out, calculations were made for the developed technical process for operating allowances, cutting conditions. 

In the design part, an automated section of the machine shop for processing the part was developed using an industrial floor-type robot M20P.40-02 and an automated transport trolley. 

In the section "Life Safety" considered
safety when using automated equipment, sanitary and hygienic working conditions at the workplace, in addition, the calculation of artificial lighting for the workshop was made.

            In the economic part of the project, the indicators of the workshop, the number of workers, the wages of workers, the cost of manufacturing the part are calculated. A comparative analysis of the cost of manufacturing parts according to the basic technological process and the developed one is carried out.

Economic efficiency amounted to 8350136.46  rubles for the annual production program.

The payback period of the main costs is 7 years.
