The content of the text part (list of issues to be developed):  

Hydraulic Calculations of a Spillway Dam: Selection of Specific Discharge, Quantity and

width of spillway spans, determination of the weir threshold elevation, selection of culverting devices, justification of the design of the channel fastening in the downstream. Filtration calculations of the underground circuit of the spillway dam: checking the filtration strength of the foundation soils, calculating the filtration back pressure, calculating the filtration flow. Static calculations of a spillway dam section: collection of effective loads, determination of contact stresses along the bottom of the structure, calculation of dam shear stability.

Rationale for the choice of the type and design of the soil dam. Determination of the dam crest elevation, design of the upper slope fastening. Assignment of physical and mechanical properties of dam soils. Filtration calculations of a soil dam. Calculation of the stability of the lower slope of the dam. Hydraulic calculation of the skipping of construction costs.
