Design of an industrial building of span type

 CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BUILDING

The workshop is part of the district base of agricultural machinery. The workshop is designed for repair of agricultural machines.

Plant and removal of machines from the workshop - by rail. Delivery of components and spare parts to the warehouse - by trackless transport.

SPACE-PLANNING SOLUTION

  The task provides for the design of an industrial building of a span type. The dimensions  of the building in the plan are 48.8 m x 102 m with 3 spans. The height to the bottom of the truss structures for the extreme spans is 6 m, for the middle span - 10.8 m. The pitch of the extreme and middle columns is 6 m. 

The roof is pitched made of reinforced concrete ribbed slabs with a slope of 1.5%. 

ARCHITECTURAL AND STRUCTURAL SOLUTION OF THE WORKSHOP

The building is designed from prefabricated metal and reinforced concrete structures. Foundations are accepted monolithic reinforced concrete glass type. 

The frame of the building consists of frames formed by columns pinched in the foundations and trusses resting on them. In the longitudinal direction, the frames are connected by crane beams.      

In this project, the frame of the one-story structure is reinforced concrete prefabricated columns of variable cross-section and half-timbered I-beam columns according to GOST 23682-79. 

The coverage of the middle span is formed by 24-meter truss trusses with parallel belts. The coating of the extreme spans is formed by gable 12-meter reinforced concrete beams of the coating. Ribbed coating slabs with overall dimensions of 3x6 m with a thickness of 305 mm are laid on the trusses.

The walls of the building's workshop are made of metal three-layer (aggregate - rockWOOL mineral wool ) hinged wall panels (sandwich panels) with a thickness of 250 mm.  Window filling is accepted from steel with double glazing windows from hot-rolled bent profiles.
