Design of a machine shop for the manufacture of the part "Left paw"

The thesis analyzes the service purpose of the part, technical requirements and accuracy. An economic justification of the choice of the method of obtaining the workpiece was carried out, as well as technological allowances and  cutting modes were calculated.

Based on this, equipment, cutting and measuring tools are selected. A technological process for machining the "Left Paw" part is being developed and an economic justification for the introduction of new equipment is being given. Next, a special machine tool is designed, a section for the manufacture of the part.

Modern production places increased demands on technological equipment: accuracy of basing of products, rigidity, ensuring full use of equipment power in roughing operations and high accuracy of processing in finishing operations, high flexibility, reducing the time for adjustment and replacement of equipment, versatility, allowing to process products of a certain type of size with minimal time for changeover, reliability and interchangeability. Automation of production makes it possible to quickly re-equip production to perform technological functions with a certain processing capacity based on the maximum use of computer technology and production.
