SCOPE OF THE CALCULATION PART OF THE PROJECT:
Design of a basic thermal diagram of the turbine unit. Approximate estimate of the steam expansion process in the turbine. Determining the preliminary estimated steam flow rate to the turbine.
Determining the maximum turbine power. Structural diagram of the turbine.
Design calculation of the turbine flow path.
Distribution of the turbine heat drop by pressure stages. Determining the number of stages.
Thermal calculation of the first stage by mean diameter.
Determining the geometric dimensions of the intermediate pressure stages and constructing a sketch of the cylinder flow path opening.
Clarifying the steam flow rate to the turbine and the geometric dimensions of the stages.
Calculation of a third-stage stepped diaphragm seal in a cylinder chamber (determine seal flow rate, available energy loss, and inter-crest chamber pressure).
Determination of thermal efficiency indicators for a turbine and turbine unit.
Calculation of the axial force on the rotor section using the third-stage cylinder chamber as an example. Calculation of a special assignment.
Mechanical calculation of turbine components.
Strength calculation of the fourth-stage blade airfoil and root.
Calculation of the fourth-stage diaphragm deflection.
Calculation of the rotor at critical speed.
GRAPHIC SECTION OF THE PROJECT:
First sheet: Longitudinal section of the turbine. Diaphragm suspension assemblies in the casings and the casings in the casing. Diaphragm seal design (in the meridional and transverse planes). Drawings of the penultimate stage flow path (in the meridional plane and along the calculated cross-sections).
Second sheet. Turbine cross-section (through the steam inlet and one of the regenerative extractions).
