Description
The simple-action pump consists of a crank-slider mechanism, the slider of which is a pump plunger reciprocating in a horizontal cylinder with automatic valves.
Working cycle of such installation is performed in one turn of crank. When the plunger moves to the right, liquid is sucked into the cylinder at a pressure below atmospheric pressure, and when the piston moves to the left, liquid is pumped into the pipeline at a pressure of pmax .
Crankshaft of crank-slide mechanism is driven by motor through planetary reduction gear, carrier and clutch. To ensure required non-uniformity of crankshaft movement there is a flywheel.
