2 Calculation of worm gear with cylindrical worm

Worm gears are calculated for strength by contact stresses with subsequent check of worm wheel teeth for bending as less strong compared to worm turns. In addition, after determining the dimensions of the housing, a thermal calculation of the worm gear is carried out, as well as a check calculation of the worm shaft for stiffness.
