INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this course project is to develop foundation structures for two characteristic sections of a 5-storey residential building in the city of Cherepovets and calculate the bases according to the limit states of group II .

This work has the following objectives:

- establishment of soils name, their condition, value of design resistance;

- determination of the value of loads acting on foundations;

- selection of rational type of foundation (shallow foundation or pile foundation) and its calculation;

- calculation of bases by limit states;

- design the most rational foundation;

- select the scheme of zero-cycle works;

- output based on the final results of the work.

4 SELECTION OF BASE TYPE

On the basis of calculations of determination of soil name, their state and value of design resistance, as well as after construction of geological section, selection of the most suitable soil layer for the base is made. In this design, soils starting from the first layer with a design resistance of Ro = 216.72 kPa are suitable for the base. Soil consists of evenly distributed layers.

Average loads will act on the base, since the maximum linear load is less than 300 kN/m, therefore, for foundations of shallow foundation, the first layer - loam with Ro = 176.39 kPa can serve as a natural base, and for pile foundation - the fourth layer - sand with Ro = 200 kPa..

5 SELECTION OF RATIONAL TYPE OF FOUNDATIONS

The selection of the type of foundations is made on the basis of a technical and economic comparison of the options most often used in the practice of industrial construction of foundations :

shallow laying;

pile foundations.

Calculation is performed for section with maximum load - on section 2-2. Design load per unit area Np = 211.013 kN.

CONCLUSION

In this project, the most rational foundation was developed for a five-story residential building - a ribbon foundation of shallow foundation. The choice of a rational type of foundation was made on the basis of a technical and economic comparison of two versions of foundations most often used in the construction of foundations: shallow foundation and pile. The comparison of the options was made on the basis of their cost, established according to the enlarged indicators for one meter of the foundation, the cost amounted to 9833.5 rubles for the ribbon foundation, 16924.01 rubles for the pile foundation.

Tape foundation is installed at elevation 113.92, that is, it is located in loam with yellow-brown soft-plastic with, porosity coefficient and consistency coefficient.

For the selected type of foundation in two characteristic sections of buildings, the bases were calculated according to the limit state of 2 groups and the obtained values were compared with the limit values of 12 cm: for a section of 1-1 draft is 1.83 cm, for a section of 2-2 - 2.14 cm.

The foundation was constructed; the scheme of zero-cycle works execution is calculated, as well as brief information about the pit arrangement is given.
