Description
The PSV-315-3-23 vertical network water heater is a large shell-and-tube heat exchanger used at combined heat and power plants to heat water in the heating system (heating and hot water) using the heat of exhaust steam from the turbine. Its key parameters are encoded in the marking: heat exchange surface area of 315 m², design modification No. 3, and network water operating pressure in the tubes of 23 bar (2.3 MPa). The vertical layout saves space in the machine room. Structurally, it consists of a cylindrical steel housing with a piping system inside. Network water flows through the tubes under high pressure, and heating steam is supplied to the housing, condensing on the outer surface of the tubes, releasing heat. Steam condensate is discharged. The unit operates as part of a group of heaters (upper and lower) using a two-stage design to maximize heat utilization and ensure the required temperature profile.
