Introduction
The main purpose of my coursework is to carry out the Structured Cable System (SKS) project at the enterprise. SCS is a hierarchically ordered system of various functional purposes and equipment of various manufacturers. According to the task, it is necessary to perform the SCS consisting of: computer network, telephone network, radio broadcasting, television network , video surveillance
The SCS is executed on the basis of the following regulatory documents:
1) Industry construction and technological standards for installation of radio broadcasting and television communication facilities (OSTNN60093)
2) SNiP 3.05.0685 - "Electrical code for installation";
3) SNiP 12032001 - "Occupational safety in construction. Part 1. General requirements ";
4) PUE - "Electrical Installation Rules";
5) VSN 3322003 - "Instructions for designing electrical installations of enterprises and telecommunication facilities, wire broadcasting, radio broadcasting and television";
6) R M SWEAT 0162001 - "Interindustry rules on labor protection at operation of electroinstallations";
The training objectives of the course project are:
Master CADsystem;
Learn to work with technical and regulatory documentation;
Learn how to build a cable log, select equipment, and familiarize yourself with it.
Understanding the Object and Structured Cabling System (SKU)
In the building, bearing walls are laid in 2 bricks of masonry (500 mm), partitions - in polkirpich.
The object consists of the following rooms: 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110. Of these, room 105 refers to office space, in rooms numbered 101, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110 there are personnel, room 102 is a server room.
In the office 103 there is 1 automated workstation including: a personal computer, a telephone and a TV.
A server is located in Room 102. In this room, it is necessary to supply a conditioning system for temperature and air stability.
In room 101 there are 7 automated workplaces consisting of a personal computer and a telephone (telephone for every 2 workplaces).
In office 104 there are 7 automated workplaces consisting of a personal computer and a telephone (phone for every 2 workplaces)
In the office 105 there are 4 automated workplaces consisting of a personal computer and a telephone (telephone for every 2 workplaces).
In office 106 there are 4 automated workplaces consisting of a personal computer and a telephone (telephone for every 2 workplaces)
In office 107 there are 4 automated workplaces consisting of a personal computer and a telephone (phone for every 2 workplaces)
In room 109 there are 3 automated workplaces consisting of a personal computer and a telephone (telephone for every 2 workplaces)
Office 110 has 3 automated workstations consisting of a personal computer and telephone (telephone for every 2 workstations)
According to SanPiN 2.2.2/2.4.134003 [4], the area per PC (Personal Electronic Computing Machine) shall be not less than 6 square meters for electron beam IWT (Video-Display Terminal) and not less than 4.5 square meters when using IWT based on flat discrete screens (liquid crystal, plasma).
Each office in which the staff works must have access to the local network of the entire building as well as to the Internet, be connected to the telephone network, have a radio receiver to listen to messages from the control room and where necessary sockets for cable broadcasting.
Structured cabling system design
Cabinet 102 has 1 switch with 48 ports, 1 automatic telephone exchange (20 ports for RJ12), 2 patch panels (1 patch panel with 48 ports for RJ45, 1 RJ-12 telephone patch panel with 24 ports)
Cables from all ends of the building are inserted into the distribution cabinet. The internal height of the cabinet is usually measured in units (indicated by U); one unit takes about 4.5 cm.
The selected distribution cabinet takes 4 units (18 centimeters).
The switch communicates two or more network segments. It stores in memory a switching table that indicates the MAS address of the node to the switch port. When the switch is enabled, this table is empty and it is in training mode. In this mode, the incoming data on any port is transmitted to all other ports on the switch.
The main characteristics of the switches are:
Filtration rate;
Speed of advance;
Capacity;
Transmission delay;
Address table size;
Port buffer size;
A direct patch cord is used to switch the switch computer.

For voice communication, IPtelephony is used. Thanks to advanced technologies, voice traffic is encrypted and sent using the IP protocol via Internet channels, and not via expensive telephone lines. To access this service, you receive a login and password (pin code). With this service, you can call not only from computer to computer, but also subscribers of ordinary telephone companies around the world, and significantly cheaper than from a traditional phone.
To connect an automated workstation in the telephone network, RJ12 sockets are used, which are connected to the telephone patch by panels 19 ″ RJ12, and those, in turn, are connected to the automatic telephone exchange IP PBX Addpac IPNext50B.
Cable television is used to provide television broadcasting in room 103. To connect cable television, television sockets for one connector and SAT703 cable are used.
This type of coaxial cable is mainly used for the installation of terrestrial, satellite or cable television systems.
It is characterized by ease of installation, due to the great flexibility and copper core, high wear resistance in adverse climatic conditions. Suitable for laying in a cable channel or in an open space. The throughput without noticeable signal attenuation is at least 200 meters long.
To provide video surveillance rooms, the DLink DCS-7110 IP cameras are used to capture video both in the absence of lighting and in low light, as well as when lighting objects from behind. In addition, a removable ICF filter, which provides day/night functionality, allows you to receive high-quality video at any time of the day. The DLink DCS-7110 is equipped with a Power over Ethernet (PoE) interface and an SDcard slot. As a result, the camera can be easily installed in a variety of locations.
According to GOST R 532462008 [1], cables for workplaces in the room are laid along the cable channel. In cabinets 101,102,103,104,105,106,107,108,109,110 cables are laid along the cable channel. To provide video surveillance, KSK networks are laid along a cable channel.
The following equipment must be purchased:
Ethernet socket RJ45 in the amount of 32 pcs.;
Ethernet plug RJ45 in the amount of 32 pcs.;
Television outlet in the amount of 1 pc.;
RJ12 telephone socket in the amount of 20 pcs.;
Telephone plug RJ12 in the amount of 20 pcs.;
Installation cabinet 4U in the amount of 1 pc.;
Patch panel 19, "48 ports RJ45, category 5e in the amount of 1 pc., is located in the mounting cabinet;
Patch panel 19, "24 ports of RJ12, telephone in the amount of 1 pc., is located in the mounting cabinet;
Controlled switch DLink DES-1210-52 in the number of 1 pieces - controlled switch of 2 level with 10/100BASETX + 2,100/1000 SFP 2 10/100/1000Base-T/100/1000SFP combos;
Automatic telephone exchange (PBX) in the amount of 1 pc. - IP PBX Addpac IPNext50B, makes it possible to connect up to 20 subscribers, there are 2 FXS ports, 2 FXO ports
Video surveillance camera DLink DCS-7110 Megapixel IPcamera and the possibility of night shooting in the amount of 3 pcs.;
Telephone cable TRP 258 meters (taking into account technical margin);
TV cable SAT703 4.5 meters (taking into account technical margin);
Cable UTPCat.5e 390 meters (taking into account technical margin);
Cable channel 60 × 40,385 meters;
Calculation of cable quantity
When calculating the required amount of cable for connecting elements to the network and calculating the number of cable channels, the method of adding the measured values in the drawing was used. Also taken into account are the lifting and lowering of cable channels, in the amount of 10% of the process cable reserve, as well as the cable reserve for socket cutting and fork crimping.
The total amount of cable required for SCS is specified in the Equipment List in Appendix A.
All patchcords required for the SCS are listed in Cable Log sheets 410 in Appendix B with the connection points of the first and second ends of the patchcords and the route of the cable.
