Introduction
Air conditioning systems are the most modern promising devices for creating climatic conditions in the building, favoring active productive and creative work, recreation of people and optimal flow of technological processes
The task of air conditioning in administrative and cultural buildings is to ensure the specified parameters of the air environment that affect the well-being of people and the operating conditions of the buildings themselves.
In accordance with the stated tasks, SNiP 41.01.2003 "Heating, ventilation and air conditioning" provides for air conditioning for the following purposes:
- achievement of established meteorological conditions and air cleanliness, if they cannot be provided with mechanical or natural ventilation, including with evaporative isothalpy air cooling;
- creation and maintenance of meteorological conditions of air in the room or part thereof according to technological requirements;
- creation and maintenance of optimal meteorological conditions or intermediate conditions between optimal and permissible, if economically justified.
Ventilation system layout and design solutions
During this project, the central air conditioner KTST2-40 was selected.
Air conditioning is located in the basement. External air intake is performed by means of an additional air intake shaft with louver grilles. According to the requirements for ventilation systems, the distance from the ground surface to the bottom of the air intake louver is 2 m.
From the plenum chambers, air is supplied through metal ducts to the rooms. Additional channels made of slag concrete materials are designed on the floors. Air is distributed to rooms from air ducts by means of louvered adjustable grids.
Exhaust is carried out in reverse order. Through the grids, air continues to enter the exhaust channels from slag concrete slabs. Air from the ducts is removed through the shafts mechanically to the outside. The mines in the attic are insulated.
